About Jesus
There is no point in talking on and on about how wonderful Papa God is (see “About Papa God“) if we are not going to talk about Jesus.
Why? Because Jesus is the way to Papa God. That’s right: if you now want to get to know the truly wonderful and awesome Papa God, you must go thro Jesus.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.” (John 14:6-10)
Okay, that’s great, but exactly how does Jesus bring us to the Father? I mean, what do I have to do? And then what happens? And when do I get to meet the Father?
All whom the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. (Jesus speaking in John 6:37)
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. (John 1:12-13)
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. (Romans 10:9-10)
Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.” (John 14:23)
